I tried Raku Ceramics and fell in love.

The Japanese traditional Raku style fascinated me so much that I immersed myself in the discipline.

Hand made vessels are started as a flat piece of clay.

The shape is formed through a paper pattern, which

is cut and seamed. Sometimes textured and sometimes

depth through layered glazes. Not everyone survives their

trial by fire. The ones that do cultivate strength & beauty.

Enjoy your little piece of me.

I want my pieces to not only be beautiful to look at but you’ll want to pick up and touch them as well.
